The Creative Gift
Giver began publishing in print format in November 1995, with the goal of
helping individuals bring the fun and creativity back into their gift
giving. Published quarterly, the 8-10 page full color newsletter was
filled with innovative and clever gift ideas, some which the reader can
easily make herself or himself; others which can be purchased from online
stores, mail order catalogs and other retailers.
We launched our website In December
2000. In the website you will find articles that solve your
gift giving problems by:

how you can use themes to create exciting gifts that will be cherished

An
e-mail version of the CreativeGiftGiver is also published and distributed
monthly.
In
Fall 2002, we decided that we could better serve the needs of our
regular visitors by merging our print newsletter into our website and
e-mail newsletter. The print newsletter ceased publication in Fall
2002.
The
Creative Gift Giver print newsletter has been highlighted in the
following publications: HGTV Magazine, The Baltimore Sun, Orange County
Metro, Nevada Parent Magazine, The Daily Herald (Lisle, IL), The
Glen Ellyn Press (Glen Ellyn, IL). It was also mentioned in the
"Customer Service and Client Relations" chapter of the book Bootstrapper's
Success Secrets: 151 Tactics for Building your Business on a
Shoestring Budget.
Its
publisher, Cheryl Schroeder, has also talked about creative gift giving on
two national radio programs: 1) The Small Business Advocate hosted
by Jim Blasingame; and 2) Business News Network by Sarah and Paul
Edwards.
