Greeting cards

No time to run to the store and pick out a greeting card?  There's no need, since many of your favorite greeting card companies have online stores. Here are our favorite places to get paper greeting cards and e-cards.

Printed Cards

Miles Kimball Cards 120x60

Miles Kimball Cards

We like: their awesome and unique greeting cards!  Many can be personalized not only with your name, but also your address, home state and more. They also have a great selection of greeting cards that come with little gifts like bookmarks, tree ornaments, Christmas music CDs and more.

BestToYou.com

We like: their beautifully designed inspirational cards, many which can be personalized with your own message. Many of them also feature unique folds or formats making them special from the discount store card. They even sell a "Christmas Music CD Card" which includes a CD filled with 50 minutes of beautiful music.  Two gifts in one!

Colorful Images

We like: free personalizing on their Christmas cards! Their designs include  whimsical photography by Tom Arma, colorful line art holiday drawings, foil cards and cut-out Christmas cards.  You can also order personalized labels from this site and skip the hand writing of return addresses this year!

Personalized Greeting Cards

Gallery Collection

We like: the lush, richly textured papers, brilliant shimmering foils, rich, glowing colors and deep, sculpted embossing they use on their cards, which are designed especially for business situations. Cards are personalized with your name or message.  Their Museum Art Masterpiece cards are especially sophisticated.

Monkey (Lt. Blue)

tinymonkey cards

We like: the 3-D elements on these unique cards. You'll find velcro strips, tiny cars, ice skaters, dice and more on these clever cards.  You won't find cards like this at your discount or grocery store! They also make custom cards for special occasions like birth announcements and weddings. These are truly original cards!

Hallmark

We like:  the added services they provide with any card you order.  They will personalize, address and mail the card directly to the recipient for a fee. It's a great timesaver! Or you can mail the card yourself. We also like their  boxed cards which allow you to mix and match the perfect card design with your favorite inside message and add your very own personal closing. They will even print the return address on the envelope for you.  Check out their Maya Angelou Life Mosaic line of cards.

VistaPrint

We like: their high-quality, custom printed greeting cards, postcards and even gift tags! Add a whimsical touch to your envelopes with their Family Caricature Return Labels!

E-cards

Amazon

We like: their wide variety of free animated e-cards for all occasions and holidays (including some lesser known holidays such as Children's Day and Dragon Boat Festival Day). We also like the fact that it's easy to send an Amazon gift certificate along with the card; simply request it while creating the e-card. Could there be a quicker way to send a gift and a card?

1000GreetingCards.com

We like: their ecard database, which makes it easy to find an ecard for almost every occasion! Their inventory includes photo cards, line drawings and more. You must register to use the site (registration is free), and then you can save copies of ecards you sent and utilize other nifty features.

Happybirthdaytoyou.com

We like: their innovative singing birthday cards.  These cards are delivered as an ecard and feature a customized song in the song style preferred by the recipient, whether that be blues, country, pop or any other music form!

Crayola.com!

Crayola

We like: the Crayola crayon drawings and Crayola clay objects featured on their e-cards.  (For example, a Thanksgiving card shows a a neat looking cornucopia made with Crayola clay!) Anyone can send an e-card with one of their standard messages.  However, you must be a registered member of the site to send a card with a customized message. (Membership is free.)

greeting-cards.com - a better way to greet.

Greeting-Cards

We like: their cool 'movie quality' e-cards, which include animation and music.  These are cards the recipient will want to save! Many of their e-cards are available in three formats: webcards, postcards and supercards. With a few clicks you can also send real flowers and gifts; prices start at $29.99. Their website also offers a reminder service so you don't forget those birthdays and anniversaries.

Hallmark.com

We like: their e-card scheduling service, which allows you to schedule card delivery  up to one year in advance! We also like the fact that you can send one card  to as many as 50 recipients at the same time.  It's also easy to include a Gift Wish Certificate (a gift certificate good toward products available through Hallmark or its partners.)

What on Earth Catalog

WhatOnEarthCatalog

We like: the magazine-quality photos featured on their free e-cards!  (Reminds us of the photos found in one of our favorite magazines, National Geographic.) They are easy to send, too--just a few clicks and the card is on its way to the recipient!  There's no charge to send these cards and you don't have to be a registered member of the site. This is certainly one of the easiest and quickest ways that we have found to send e-cards!

Talking Presents

We like: the flexibility of their free e-cards!  They have hundreds of graphics, or you can upload your own. Then you can select your background color or texture, your music from their jukebox (or upload your own). You can also  include a customized message, and even decide the color and typestyle of your message's text!  Each card can also be sent to multiple recipients. You can schedule a sending date for up to 3 months in advance. Very impressive service, and it's free from this company, which sells the neatest talking and singing gifts!
